WE, at Val­ley Children’s Med­ical Cen­ter believe that qual­ity med­ical care is an on-going dynamic inter­ac­tion among the child/patient, the parent(s)/guardian(s), and the physi­cian. We believe that this mutually-interdependent inter­ac­tion is what pro­motes a healthy envi­ron­ment that enables the child to stay well while he/she goes through his/her phys­i­cal, bio­log­i­cal, psy­cho­log­i­cal, social, cul­tural, and spir­i­tual development.

  While our patients, as spe­cial human beings are always the focal point of our prac­tice, in the wellness-illness con­tin­uum, we, as their pri­mary physi­cians are the core providers of the best med­ical deci­sions and pre­scrip­tive reme­dies that are based on sound sci­en­tific knowl­edge and exper­tise. As physi­cians, we ful­fill the mul­ti­ple roles of child-advocates, par­ent edu­ca­tors and con­sul­tants, and health care providers. We are the pri­mary agents that ensure that our patients main­tain their healthy sta­tus, raise it to a higher level, or in some irre­versible cases keep it functional.
