After 9 months of pregnancy, you are now excited and getting ready to begin life with your baby. At VCMC, we will take good care of your baby as it was ours. We will assure of your babies safety and welfare.

Our Goals and Priorities

A newborn baby can feel small and fragile. You baby will give you the most important information on how he or she likes to be treated, talked to, held, and comforted.  This section address the most common questions and concerns that arise during the first months of life.

 

Common Conditions in Newborns

Some physical conditions are especially common during the first couple of weeks after birth. If you notice any of the following in your baby, contact your pediatrician.
