Physician Assistant
Carol Yagher, PA-C has been with Gutierrez-Go for 14 years and brings to her practice a diverse background in health care services.
She has been an integral part of our practice, with her wealth of experience and kind and compassionate attitude. She is meticulous, detail-oriented, a patient listener, caring, and is praised by patients for looking at them as a whole.
As a result of her contributions to her profession and the community, she has been recently recognized as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Carol has attended the University of Kansas, Kettering College of Medical Arts, and Wright State University. She has been on the Dean’s List for two prestigious scholarships and graduated with honors.
As a Certified Physician Assistant of 38 years’ experience, she has worked in a variety of specialty areas, including Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Family Practice, Gynecology, Hematology/Oncology, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Mental Health, and Otolaryngology. Her background also includes several years as a Microbiology Instructor and as an Emergency Medical Technician. In addition, she has over twenty years of experience in medical office management.
Carol has been active in the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Ohio Academy of Physician Assistants, and the California Academy of Physician Assistants, and served on the Physician Assistant continuing Education Planning committee at Wright State University/Miami Valley Health Education Center. She has also served on the Continuing Education committee of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and appears in “Who’s Who in America.”
Carols is a mother of three sons – Jeff, Kevin and Chris – who have and multiple successes of their own in the entertainment industry. They have married successful women and are connected to movies such as “Face Off” and “Sleepy Hollow,” and television programs including “Seventh Heaven” and “Bones.” Their combined talents range from acting and sculpture to teaching and computer graphics. They have authored children’s books and have given Carol a total of five wonderful grandchildren.
Besides being a dedicated health professional, her other interests include writing fiction and non-fiction, painting, interior decoration, sailing, and real estate.
