Fre­quently Asked Questions

Are you accept­ing new patients?
Yes! New patients are always wel­come! How­ever, we ask that you call the office and make an appoint­ment before coming.

Do you accept walk-ins?
In order to serve all our patients bet­ter, every­one is seen by appoint­ment only. In this way, we keep wait times for every­body to a min­i­mum. If you call before com­ing, we may be able to place you in the sched­ule for the day.

Can the pedi­a­tri­cian see my child the day she gets sick and needs to be seen?
Yes! Though we do not encour­age walk-ins, we are com­mit­ted to car­ing for your child on the day you call if your child needs to be seen. Some­times this may not be pos­si­ble, but we will strive to accom­mo­date your child if she is sick. Again, please call us and we will advise you on the best course of action for your child.

What are your office hours?
We are open from 8am to 6 pm Mon­day to Fri­day. The office is closed on week­ends. Please call in advance to make an appoint­ment and ver­ify our hours.

Do you have a sick and a well wait­ing area?
Yes, we have sep­a­rate sick and well wait­ing rooms.

Is your physi­cian board cer­ti­fied?
Yes, Dr. Gutierrez-Go is board cer­ti­fied in pedi­atrics and is a fel­low in the Amer­i­can Acad­emy of Pediatrics.

What lab tests do you per­form in the office?
We do basic lab tests in our facil­ity. More com­pre­hen­sive tests are per­formed by out­side labs, as per your insur­ance plan.

What insur­ance com­pa­nies and plans do you accept?
We accept: Aetna, Blue­Cross BlueShield (BCBS), CCN, Cigna, Great West, Health­Net, Exclu­sive Care, Oasis HMO, Van­tage Med­ical Group, IEHP, and Molina. If your spe­cific insur­ance plan or com­pany was not listed, please call our office to check as we may be cer­ti­fied with them through another insur­ance company.
